Before making your soap, you should be sure that you have all of the ingredients needed. Glycerin soap, molds, dyes, and perfumes are necessary for making soap. Also, items that you probably have in your kitchen that are needed are microwave-safe measuring cups and double boilers. Rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle and small toys can also be used for soap creation.
The first thing that you need to decide is whether you would like to make your soap in the microwave or on your stove. For microwave melting you will need to use the microwave-safe measuring cup mentioned above. For the stove, use a double boiler with a lid or something equivalent.
The first step is to cut up the glycerin soap into pieces, which will allow it to melt faster. You can put them in either the measuring cup or double boiler to melt. Be sure to not over-melt the soap, as it can burn. You should therefore watch it melt carefully.
When your soap has melted you can add perfume or colors. You may need to work on this a bit before you get it the way you want. Also, you can add other ingredients, but no toys yet.
When you have added all of your ingredients, pour the mixture of soap into a mold. If you want to add an object, only fill the mold part-way and let it sit for a few minutes. Then add the object on top and spray alcohol over it. Then add the rest of the soap into the mold.
If making soap without an object, pour the mixture straight into your mold. It should be hardened for about an hour before you remove it.
