Anybody knows any good websites for all natural homemade beauty products/recipes?
I don’t mean websites that SELL products. I mean websites that contain information (recipes, tips etc) on how to make your own natural homemade beauty products. Thanx.

I kind of like Care2 — it’s a huge site about natural and green living. I originally got interested in it because of their great recipes for non-toxic house cleaning and furniture polishes, etc.

In their Healthy and Green Living section under “True Beauty” they have lots of nice recipes for skin and hair care, makeup, bath stuff, etc.

    Hope that helps.

I just wrote an article about this very thing! There are several different recipes. I’ve tried almost all of them and they work great!

    Honey and cinnamon stirred
together used as a face mask.
Leave it on for 10 minutes and
it will help to get rid of any blemishes,
and leaves your skin feeling baby soft.
I do it all the time.
    It smells really good, too.

Also, some people say not to do this,
but it makes my hair really shiny.
Crack an egg over your head and
    saturate your hair with it.
Leave it on for about 15 minutes,
and when you wash your hair,
    it’ll be somewhat silkier.

Nope, but can help you on a few basics .. ?
    hair:
-squashed avacado to energize the roots of your hair and hence make it grow healthy.
-instead of using gel sometimes, you could use face/body cream for the hair. it doesn’t damage the hair…tried and tested.

    for puffy eyes:
-put 2 steel spoons in your fridge for about 2mins and place them over your eye lids.
    -used tea bags.
    -cold cucumber.

    sorry not much ..
