Essential oils are very popular for their natural origin, soft effect, a small list of contraindications. All these benefits make essential oils very appropriate for a wide application.

The regenerating properties of essential oils for skin care are well known. Thanking the great combination of effective provitamins and some other active matters, oils of rose, rosewood, sandal, chamomile, ylang-ylang, geranium have the high importance in the field of regeneration of skin tissues.

Oils can enrich any cosmetics – masks, creams, scrubs, lotions, gels, etc. Just a few drops of any oil, added to cream or mask, make them much more effective. It is very important: try to apply some diluted essential oil on your hand to check if you have allergy. Choosing oil for use in cosmetics you should always know and remember your skin type.

If you have dry skin, please, use following oils: chamomile, jasmine with almond oil, geranium, orange, lavender, rosewood, tea tree, sandal. These oils will help you to strengthen the cell membranes, to stimulate metabolic processes and to improve the processes of regeneration of the skin.

If your skin is oily, prefer mint, lemon balm, lemon, rosemary, geranium, ginger, juniper, thyme, lavender, chamomile, ylang-ylang, bergamot, grapefruit, and clove. The functions of essential oils in this case are the dissolution and discoloration of secretions, contaminating the pores; pores reduction; renewal of hormonal balance; and strengthening of the skin immunity.

For normal skin use the following oils: with tonic effect – lemon, geranium, juniper, rosemary; relaxing and soothing oils – jasmine, lavender, mint, rose, chamomile; smoothing small wrinkles – lemon, orange, lavender, and tea tree.
